what can I say? I have a thing for woodland creatures

Why is it that pointless things fascinate me so god dammed much!? It's okay. I'm not expecting you to answer. I fear there is no answer that would satisfy me without insulting me in the process.

Anyway. On to the point of this rant, which is - These adorable usb owls. As far as I can tell they do literally nothing at all except look incredibly cute.

Basically you plug one of these little guys into your usb drive and then perch him on your monitor where he will proceed to blink, move his head and be nothing short of lovely. I don't think you can even save data on him but I could be wrong.

I can't really explain why this appeals to me but it really does. If you, like me, would just love a little owl friend to keep you company and if you, unlike me, can actually afford to be ordering frivolous things off of the internet then head on over to thinkgeek.com where I found the little darlings.

Also, just curious, but if you had one - what would you name him?
